and after an hour or two in the direct sunlight to cure the oil, and darken the Cherry ...some buffing
and , ta-da!

Black Cherry Modern Pugio
Decided to make some handles for one of my Pugio blades- some more Black Cherry, again .
Shaped, and sanded to 120 grit
..and the 1st coats of Tung Oil.
and fine sanding to 900 grit before the next coat of Tung Oil.
Second coats of Tung Oil.
and after an hour or two in the direct sunlight to cure the oil, and darken the Cherry ...some buffing
and , ta-da!
