Brian's Blade
Got some progress on the restoration of Brian's blade. Began grinding/polishing away the years of rust and grit, as best I can.
And now, the spine of the blade-just forward of the handle- Before:
and After:
You can see the lines where the old surface is vs. the polished/ground surfaces
bout half-way done with the blade flats on this side..
and, with one side done, a quick break, then I begin on the other side's flats :)

Have completed grinding/polishing of the other side's flats. Looking nice, thus far. Will give another going-over tomorrow to shine it out even more.
