Update on the Bocote/Purpleheart handles

A LOT of hand-sanding today.

Purpleheart and Bocote knives, and new some new hide

Ok, I'm currently making handles for both the Modern Pugio, and my small knife in both Purpleheart, and Bocote - So, if someone places an order for either, they can choose which wood. Or, can make matched-sets of the small knife and Pugio in either wood type.

Also, picked up a nice, new hide- excellent texture. So begin sending me your ideas for Christmas gifts of leather soon!

And, I'm also adding a new folding knife to the line-up, slightly larger than the last one- this one, with Mahogany handles to start.

Bocote Pugio

Scored some nice Bocote a while back, have decided to use some for a set of handles for one of the Pugios-not going to mount these, just yet, but make these and a few more sets that can be mounted per-order to a Pugio blade, in various wood types.

Rough-sanding./shaping, final sanding/contouring wont take place until these are ordered and mounted to a blade.

2 New Knives and a sheath

Been a while since I posted, but have still been busy going @ it, so here goes.

1st up, my 1st effort at a folding knife - 440 stainless, G10 handles

Next, a small "boot" dagger - with Cherry handles

Busy day- finished up some more projects..

Got real busy today..finished up some of the projects I'd start a while back-finally.

1st- finished the belt-loop/attachment panel for the Big#2 sheath

Then, I finished-up the shell-holder for the shoulder-stock of my rifle/shotgun for Anti-Snake use.

And, for giggles, and with some left-over leather scraps that were too small /odd-sized to use for anything else, I made a quick holster for my target pistol.

Deepest Purple re-build update

Been a while- but here we go. Last week applied the 1st coats of the Purple to the sanded body of the Strat

1st the primer coats

Then the 1st Deep Purple coats

Next up will be the clear top-coats - maybe next week, weather permitting.
Meantime, threw the old, original pickguard on it to see how it, and some chrome will look-rougly.
Ordering up the new Pickguard and pickups next, as well.
